papers, papers;

money figures
business capers
makes the unsuspecting single mother weep;

heartbeat tapers
(away away from here)

business cards read
"economy rapers".

happy?
while you forfeited your makers,
removed responsibility
hiding behind skyscrapers.

satisfied?
under streetlight vapours
millions sleep
on papers, papers.

Yes, very nice way of putting the situation into a poem. Never seen something like it done so well. Something people can relate to.

Love it. :heart:

I loved you when you opened
Like a lily to the heat.
You see, I'm just another snowman
Standing in the rain and sleet,
Who loved you with his frozen love
His second-hand physique,
With all he is, and all he was
A thousand kisses deep.

I love this. I adore how you don't rhyme much, but when you do it's always lovely.

I utter lilac shrieks, and scarlet bellowings.
